Happy Ghosts to Play With And Eat!

To keep with the theme of learning about attitude we spent some time making crafts with happy attitudes for FHE the other night.  All of them are ghosts so they go nicely with the season.  Plus, they are fun and quick!

The Happy Glove Ghost...

Take a glove and draw a happy face on it with a permanent marker (not too close to the top.)
If you want you can draw a sad face on the other side so you can sing "Smiles" with them.  You can find that song here and simply twist which side of the glove you are showing while you sing.
Fill it up with some water!
Tie a knot and you have a Happy Ghost, the toy with a positive attitude!
 Sophia REALLY loved hers...

Ghost Toast & Ghost Bananas

Pretty self-explanatory...chocolate chips shoved into banana haves in the shape of a smiley face.  And toast spread with cream cheese decorated with happy faces too!  We let the kids design their own faces (notice the scatter smile above.)  Again, these were times to enjoy talking about what kind of attitude helps us get things done and feel good- a HAPPY ONE!!!
Hope you can use these ideas to teach your kids about having a happy attitude!  Remember, the Gospel is true!  And the time you spend teaching your children is priceless!  Love, Eva
