Wrapping Up the Month Strong with Parties, Art & Games!

Between vacations and visiting family it's been a little while but I'm here to finish August strong!

What a  great story!  I've found that since reading The Friend I have more stories in my brain to just bring up and share with my children, giving more opportunities for spiritual moments.  If you want to do more than that though, use this story as a motivator to throw your own present party.  Maybe you could collect school supplies, art supplies or jackets since colder weather is coming.  I love how this little girl chose something she liked and got donations from friends and distant relatives.  I think we're going to try collecting coloring books for the local Christmas Box house!  Talking about this and planning your party could be a great FHE activity for tonight too!

Let your kids do some art and send it on in! :)

Again, a great article topic for on your way to church, while eating a meal or just getting your kids' pajamas on.  Our bodies are so special and important!  Playing the game is an extra bonus!

These three activities can easily be discussed between now and Wednesday night.  It only takes 5 minutes to make an eternal impression!  Have a great day and remember, the church is true!
